2012 El Yunque America the Beautiful

The obverse of each coin is adorned with a representation of George Washington, the first president of the United States, and the opening words of his first Inaugural Address: “In God We Trust”. The reverse of each coin is emblazoned with an American landscape, flora, or fauna associated with the state or territory in which the coin was minted. The edge of each coin is inscribed with their fineness and weight.

The first five beautiful coins issued were in 2010 and celebrated Hot Springs National Park (Arkansas), Yellowstone National Park (Wyoming), Yosemite National Park (California), Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona), and Mount Hood National Forest (Oregon). Every year since the mint has released five additional coins until the full series of 25 coins was completed in 2021.

The coins have been a favorite of both investors and collectors due to their intrinsic metal value and their artistic design. In addition to the few coins available for purchase directly from the U.S. Mint, many of these coins can be found on the collectors' market. They typically sell for a premium above the silver spot price. With certified coins, the collectibility, preservation, and rarity of the America the Beautiful 2010-2021 bullion coins make them a precious addition to any collection.
