About LuckyCoin

LuckyCoin is a coin collecting app and website built for numismatists of every experience level — from kids sorting their first jar of cents to lifetime collectors cataloging rare issues. Our goal is to make it effortless to see what you own, what it’s worth, and what’s still missing from your collection.

Who We Are

LuckyCoin is a product of Stuck at Home, LLC, a small software studio. The app launched on iOS in 2021, expanded to Android shortly after, and is now available on the web at getluckycoin.com. The same account syncs your collection across every device you sign in on.

What LuckyCoin Does

  • Catalogs world coins. Thousands of series from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Mexico, and more — each with year-by-year mintage figures, grade-based value tables, and full composition data.
  • Tracks your collection. Add every coin you own with its grade, grading company, quantity, and purchase price. LuckyCoin keeps running totals on completion percentage, aggregate market value, and melt value.
  • Computes live melt values. Every coin’s metal content is multiplied against today’s spot prices for gold, silver, platinum, palladium, copper, and zinc. See the Live Metal Prices page.
  • Teaches grading. LuckyGrade is a practice game built on real coin reference imagery that trains your eye on the Sheldon 1–70 scale.

How We Handle Your Data

Your collection is yours. We store it in your account so it syncs across devices, and we don’t share, sell, or analyze individual collection data. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

Where Our Data Comes From

Mintage figures, compositions, and historical reference data are sourced from public numismatic records and cross-verified against Mint reports. Live metal prices are sourced from public market feeds and refreshed throughout the business day.
