Trump $1 Coin Rolls and Bags Set for Sept. 2 Launch

The U.S. Mint's most talked-about 2026 release hits the order page September 2: rolls and bags of the 1776 ~ 2026 President Donald J. Trump $1 coin, priced at $61 for a 25-coin roll and $154.50 for a 100-coin bag. The coins are legal tender but won't enter general circulation, and 250,000 of them were struck on the Fourth of July with a special "JULY 4th" privy mark — adding a chase element from day one. Product limits are set at 150,000 rolls and 50,000 bags, with a two-per-household order limit at launch.

Walking Liberty Gold Coin & Silver Medal Set Headlines August Mint Lineup

Walking Liberty Gold Coin & Silver Medal Set Headlines August Mint Lineup

The third release in the Mint's "Best of the Mint" Semiquincentennial series features a half-ounce 24-karat gold coin recreating Adolph A. Weinman's 1916 Walking Liberty half dollar design, paired with a newly designed one-ounce silver medal offering a modern Art Deco interpretation of Weinman's original. The gold coin carries a Liberty Bell "250" privy mark, and the set is limited to 30,000 units with a one-per-household order limit. For context, the inaugural Mercury Dime set in the series has already closed out at 28,538 sold — don't sleep on this one.

Whatever the metals do next week, stay sharp on your melt numbers — that's what separates a good deal from a great one. See you in the stacks. — Matthew
