The 1903 King Edward VII Half Penny coin, engraved by George William de Saulles, and made of bronze. Weighing 5.67 grams, with a diameter of 25.5 mm, and a thickness of 1.3 mm, and featuring a plain edge.
The obverse is uncrowned portrait of king edward vii facing right, legend around. It reads "EDWARDVS VII DEI GRA:BRITT:OMN:REX FID:DEF:IND:IMP: DES". The reverse is seated figure of britannia right, trident in left hand, shield bearing the union flag in right, denomination around, date in exergue, sea behind. It reads "HALF PENNY 1903".
