The obverse is bust of king george v, wearing a crown, facing left. . It reads "GEORGIVS V DEI GRA: REX ET IND:IMP:". The reverse is the face value, accompanied with the inscription "canada", is surrounded with two maple boughs and a crown. It reads "25 CENTS CANADA 1927".
