The obverse is bust of king edward vii, wearing a crown, facing right. . It reads "EDWARDVS VII DEI GRATIA REX IMPERATOR DeS.". The reverse is the face value, accompanied with the inscription "canada", is surrounded with two maple boughs and a crown. from 1908 to 1910, the boughs were wider. It reads "25 CENTS CANADA 1906".
