The 1953 With Shoulder Fold, Near Leaf Specimen Queen Elizabeth II 5 Cents coin, struck at the Royal Canadian Mint mint, engraved by Susan Taylor, and made of nickel plated steel. Weighing 3.95 grams, with a diameter of 21.2 mm, and a thickness of 1.76 mm, and featuring a smooth edge.
The obverse is head of queen elizabeth ii, as at 77 years of age, bare headed, wearing necklace and earrings, facing right. It reads “ELIZABETH II D·G·REGINA P SB”. The reverse is a beaver, over the inscription "canada", surrounded with the face value, flanked on both sides by a maple leaf. It reads “5 CENTS KG CANADA 2005”.
