The obverse is head of the very young queen victoria wearing a laurel wreath, facing left. It reads "VICTORIA DEI GRATIA REGINA. CANADA". The reverse is the face value above date is surrounded with a wreath of two maple boughs and a crown. It reads "10 CENTS 1858".
