The 1966 Queen Elizabeth II 10 Cents coin, has a total mintage of 34,330,199, struck at the Royal Canadian Mint mint, and engraved by Susan Taylor. Made of nickel plated steel, weighing 1.75 grams, with a diameter of 18.03 mm, and a thickness of 1.22 mm, and featuring a milled edge.

The obverse is head of queen elizabeth ii, as at 77 years of age, bare headed, wearing necklace and earrings, facing right. It reads "ELIZABETH II D•G•REGINA P". The reverse is the bluenose under sail, a canadian schooner from nova scotia, a celebrated racing ship and a symbol of the province, is surrounded with the face value and the inscription "canada". It reads "CANADA 2005 H 10 CENTS".
